Boo is my artist. She also hit the fridge and the kitchen wall with that purple crayon. I think Bug half expected me to totally blow my top but, well, they're washable. So...eh. I told them to have at it and we could clean it up when they were done.
(To her credit, Boo isn't even two yet and the first thing she did when I commented on her having written on the cabinet was go grab a sponge and try to wipe it off. Sweet girl.)

Bug says that's the cats fighting (which, thankfully, they don't really do) on the right-most door.
Try a Magic Eraser sponge. There was quite a bit of crayon on the hall walls when we moved in. The Magic Eraser did get a lot off (although not all).
ReplyDeleteThey're supposed to be washable, so I'm going to attempt that first. But I think it might be time to pick up a Magic Eraser anyway. Not ALL of the crayons available to the little child are washable and she has a tendency to write on whatever she wants to. ;) Thanks for the recommendation! I'm glad to hear that it (mostly) worked on your walls!

It did! It was SO easy. I grabbed a damp washcloth, gave it a wipe and the cabinets looked as good as new. Or, as good as before, since they really need to be painted. :p Honestly, it cleaned up so easily that I've allowed them (under the very controlled circumstance of "only on these three doors") to do it again. It also wipes off of glass, tile and mirrors just as easily. I *might* have had to test that theory.
